Coaching Bio
Coach Davis is entering his fifth season as the head coach of the girls basketball team. Coach Davis is a 1986 graduate from Wellsboro High School where he where he lettered in football and baseball. After graduating high school, Coach Davis enlisted in the Navy serving in the submarine force as a nuclear qualified electrician. After his military service, Coach Davis attended Mansfield University earning a B.S.E. degree in Physics.
Coach Davis' first basketball coaching experience was at the Williamson Junior-Senior High School as the Boys Head Middle School coach before he was hired at Wellsboro to coach under former head coach Steve Adams during the 2005-2007 seasons.
Coach Davis is in his 20th year of teaching. From 1997 to 2003 he taught Physics at Wyalusing Valley Junior-Senior High School. From 2003-2005 he taught Business/Computers at Williamson and has been at Wellsboro High since 2005. Coach Davis resides in Wellsboro with his wife Jennifer and their two children, Benjamin and Janessa.
