Middle School Hornets fall to Mansfield, 44-27.
 

The Wellsboro Boys Middle School Basketball team lost 44-27 to North Penn-Mansfield on Monday, November 18.

After another slow first quarter trailing 12-5, Wellsboro was able to cut the halftime deficit to 18-15. Mansfield then outscored the Hornets 17-5 in the third quarter and never looked back.

Caden Smith led Wellsboro with 9 points. Hayes Campbell, Tyler Youells and Mitchel Lechler all scored 6 points to round out the scoring.

The B team won 27-16. Mitchel Lechler scored 8 points, Micaiah Fitch scored 6 points, E.J. Keck scored 5 points, and Micah Vickery and Blake Solow each scored 4 points.

The Hornets next play Sayre on Thursday, November 21.
